My style of teaching is as a traditional artist instructing a class.

My videos teach you to paint; the use of colors and perspective, composition, brush manipulation and some of the benefits of painting digitally. This will also show how much your work can look like a painting on a canvas and how much this digital painting process is the same in many ways. Digital Painting opens new doors and new ways of looking at art and interpreting the beauty around us.

The Beekeepers Place. Was was painted using Painter 2021. (Brushes are for Painter 2020, 2021 and 2019 ) I used various paper textures with my Schmid Brush and a Pastel Brush to paint the majority of this painting. To paint the flowers I used the bluebonnet nozzles that I made.

This painting class is available for *basic/intermediate - advanced students of Corel Painter. It is beneficial to know how to download files, install files within painter, store files on your computer, load brushes and understand where everything is in Painter to navigate the different panels. Know what layers are and how to navigate the layers panel.

You will be provided 4 videos; #01 being an introduction to brushes and things to watch for in terms of using watercolor brushes. All brushes are from Painters default Watercolor and Real Watercolor Brush Categories. I have gathered a few of those brushes into a brush category for this painting. So everything is in the same place. You will have reference images supplied, and a riff file to begin your painting on complete with sketch. Plus an added bonus of three watercolor papers to use if you want.

The watercolor painting begins with #1 video will be painting the background: #2 painting the flower; #3 will be finishing up.

This class is for an *basic/intermediate to advanced Corel Painter artist. If you are somewhat new to Corel Painter and you understand how to load brushes, papers, open a new canvas to paint on, understand about riff files etc... you will be able to navigate this class with no problem.
